I believe what you said was very reasonable. But, what about this? suppose you composed a catchier title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added something that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and see how they create news titles to get viewers to click. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

Howdy would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog soon but I'm having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
